Screen Printing

Screen printing involves the age old process of pushing ink through a screen mesh onto a substrate; in this case, the surface of a CD or DVD.  It is the most cost effective way to produce spot and full color images printed on a disc. Perfect for runs of 500 pieces or more.  Once the image is printed on the disc the ink is cured with UV lighting to ensure a permanent finish that will not bleed, smudge or smear.  Screen printing is best suited for spot color printing.  Be aware that white counts as a color when creating your design.

You can reverse out colors to the silver surface of the disc for a unique look.  Click here for and example of knocking out to silver.
